Kamikaze Girls
Kamikaze Girls, known in Japan as Shimotsuma Monogatari is a light novel written by Novala Takemoto that has been adapted into a manga and film.
Kamikaze Girls centers around two students, Momoko Ryugasaki (Kyoko Fukada) and Ichigo "Ichiko" Shirayuri (Anna Tsuchiya), who are from completely different backgrounds: one is a Lolita girl, the other a Yankī. The story showcases their special bond. The movie was filmed in the town of Shimotsuma, in the Ibaraki Prefecture in Eastern Japan. The movie was produced in 2004.
The movie is based on a popular light novel of the same name written by Novala Takemoto and published in October 2002. It was released on DVD in the United States in January 2006 under the title Kamikaze Girls. The U.S. DVD has English subtitles (which can not be disabled) and the original Japanese vocals and musical score. The DVD extras include the original Japanese movie trailers, an interview with each of the movie's two stars, along with a music video by Anna Tsuchiya.
A manga based on the book was also created by Yukio Kanesada. It was published in English by Viz. A preview of the manga was in the November 2005 issue of Shojo Beat.

Insult to Buddhism
This film is an insult to Buddhism. Thai law has a number of special sections concerning religious offences, and these cover not only Buddhism, the religion of the majority of the people, but also any other faiths represented in the kingdom. It is, for instance, unlawful to commit any act, by any means whatsoever, to an object or a place of religious worship of any community in a manner likely to insult the religion.
Similarly, "whoever causes any disturbance at an assembly lawfully engaged in the performance of religious worship of religious ceremonies" is subject to punishment, as well as "whoever dresses or uses a symbol showing that he is a monk or novice, holyman or clegyman of any religion unlawfully in order to make another person believe he is such person.''

Sundome
Sundome is a manga series by Kazuto Okada. It was adapted into a live-action film in 2007. Sundome literally means "stopping the moment before," in this case referring to being stopped just before ejaculating. Seven volumes have been released in Japan with six volumes translated into English. The seventh volume is set for release in August 2010, and the eighth and final volume is set for December 2010.
The story's protagonist is a 15 year-old high school student named Hideo Aiba, a member of a school club called the Roman Club. The story centers around his quid pro quo relationship with a girl named Kurumi Sahana. Most of the events begin as an outing of the Roman Club. Occasionally, Hideo will be out on his own with Kurumi. This is usually at night, serving to contrast the playful daytime events.
